MAJOR roadworks have begun on a busy road in the city.
As previously reported, there will be no entry onto Castle Road for almost two weeks, while gas main works are carried out.

SGN's urgent programme of work to replace a leaking section of the gas main along Churchill Way West and Castle Road commenced on Monday, February 5.
Phase one of the repair will close the road from the exit of Waitrose along the A36 to Castle Roundabout.
Castle Road's northbound lane will be inaccessible from Castle Roundabout until Saturday, February 17, to ensure everyone's safety.
