THERE will be more road closures on Castle Road later this month.
It comes just weeks after a section of the road had to be closed for three weeks earlier this year for gas repairs.
The road will be closed from its junction with Pauls Dene Road to its junction with Old Castle Road to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and associated works. The diversion route is via the A303, the A338, the A30, the A36 and the unaffected length of the A345 and vice versa.
The road will be closed from March 14 and will be required between the hours of 7pm and 6am until March 28.
It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
